This page is maintained by the NexMeet team to explain how NexMeet.world ("NexMeet", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website and app. NexMeet is currently in beta — this policy will evolve as the product does.

1. Information we collect

Profile information you provide: name, headline, role, company, photo, links, interests and industries.
Check-in data you choose to share: airport, hotel, event or city, with your specified start and end times.
Event activity: events you host, register for, or express interest in.
Messages & connections: matches, chats and meetings you create through the app.
Technical data: device type, browser, IP address and basic analytics needed to run the service.

2. How we use it

To power discovery — showing you relevant people at the same venue, event or city.
To operate matching, chat and meeting features between connected users.
To send transactional notifications (matches, messages, event updates).
To improve safety, prevent abuse and enforce our community guidelines.
To communicate product updates you opt into.

3. What others can see

Your profile, active check-ins and event participation are visible to other NexMeet members in the relevant discovery context. Private messages are only visible to matched participants. You can unmatch at any time, which removes the conversation for both sides.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with service providers who help us run NexMeet (hosting, analytics, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated content at any time by emailing privacy@nexmeet.world.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong password and keep your account credentials safe.

7. Your choices

Edit or remove profile details at any time.
End a check-in early to stop appearing in that venue's discovery.
Unmatch to end a conversation.
Request access, correction or deletion of your data.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and basic analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children

NexMeet is intended for professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
